Slow week

Posted on June 22nd, 2016

Since the last entry, not a whole lot has been happening. Mostly, I've simply continued my Minecraft game, which has had its own ups and downs. Sick pets and sleepless nights tends to make things stressful, to say the least.

That said, I've made attempts to rewrite the tools I use on my system, and they seem to be coming along this round. Currently everything is back to where they were before I started trying to fix things, plus I've added a new tool.

The tools I need to redo the slang section of GMG are currently absent; their broken state was what started off this rewrite project, and I'm clearly going to need to take a different approach to make working tools for that.

This evening had been set aside for a movie night, and so I had penne pasta bake with some cheese bread while we watched Mame staring Lucille Ball and Dorothy Bea Arthur.

On a different note, I had expected my temporary leave of Tumblr to have given rise to more things being accomplished by the end of the month. On one hand, this can be attributed to a lot of scattered development -- some things got done, while other projects were only partially worked on. On the other, nobody foresaw the cats getting sick. Though pretty much everyone foresaw a lot of things getting done in Minecraft, not that any of that really matters in the end.

Link of the day: 6 CREEPIEST Haunted Forests You Should Never Visit

One of my favorite creepy storytellers on YouTube is Lazy Masquerade, as he always seems to prefer a good story over raw shock value. A good example of this is this video of his where he tells the tale of 6 real forests that you should never visit.
