The goal for today was to get both PonAI and 1274 updated. It took a while, but with the help of a Mt. Dew and some pre-planning, it worked out in the end and both where updated by mid-evening.
During the day I also redrew some things for Drawn By His Light and created a third page. This brings the total "done" pages to about 3. Of 87. This will probably go faster now that I have a feel for what I'm doing.
I also spent some time playing a new game of Dead Space on the newer computer. This is the first time I've played with with graphics on high; the old machine couldn't handle it. This has been a bit of an eye opener: with the higher graphic settings, there's more blood and gore. I wasn't expecting this, but it won't stop me from playing it through.
On a side note, I've been experimenting with sleep mode. Originally, I shut down my computers to switch between them. Recently I read that shutting your machines down often isn't good for the hardware, so I was compromising with sleep mode instead. Since then, the new computer has had a number of glitches -- apps without sound, apps that won't run properly and other things. Rebooting has always fixed this, so I'm inclined to think that the sleep mode is causing the trouble. I'm going to need to find some other method of handling the heat these machines create.
Link of the day: Dog of Wisdom
It's a dachshund in a plane barking at another flying dog who makes knock knock jokes. Don't expect much sense out of this.
