Yesterday was originally going to be the big biweekly shopping. We ended up pushing it to this morning, and it turned out to be a rather huge shopping trip. Part of that was because we went to a different store than usual, and stocked up on various things that our usual place doesn't carry. I also picked up a number of goodies, including the sub and a chicken parmesan wrap that made up my lunch.
During the afternoon I just messed around a bit. I wanted to do a PonAI update for Christmas, but just couldn't think of what to draw.
On the other hand, I made a lot of progress with the new site's back end code this evening. I ended up having to redo most of it, as it was rather kludgy and couldn't be neatly altered. It'll be much easier to work with now.
The big problem of the day though is that Avast decided to go bonkers again and deleted parts of one of the web browsers I use, claiming it was a virus. These false positives are getting crazy, and I'm sick of reinstalling things to fix Avast's mistakes. So I'm looking around for another antivirus option -- I'll probably wind up with AVG again. I don't remember why I switched from it in the first place honestly.
I did some reading up on antivirus comparisons, and one of the places that tests them found Avast reported the most false positives of all of the programs they tried. So yeah, time to ditch it.

There's a reason why things are classics -- you just can't beat them. Let's bring in Christmas with an old classic.
