Overcoming and coding

Posted on August 30th, 2014

Yesterday was a simple case of forgetting to make an entry before shutting down the computer. It was a fairly uneventful day, save for still being sick.

The main focus for today was getting work done on the new MineTest mod design. Specifically, I copied over many of the textures from my favorite Minecraft texture pack into Minetest's directories and then began work on my own additions to the game.

The first mod is fairly workable, and the major bugs are already worked out. I've made some notes on where to go from here and things are going to be quite interesting. I want to keep things simple so there's only a minimal of gotchas. It's tricky enough already.

Tomorrow I'll see about updating Drawn By His Light in addition to getting This is Our Father's World ready for September.

Link of the day: Piece of crap sold at auction for $8,500

Somebody has odd taste, but it may be worth mentioning that the crap in question is possibly 33 million years old, making it rather different than your everyday crap.
