This morning began really early, as mom had a doctor's visit equally early on. Dad and I dropped her off at the doc's, then ran an errand to the old grocery store for random things and a little something extra for dinner.
After the errand, we visited the pharmacy, which was really disorganized -- this will probably be the last time we take advantage of their new means of ordering meds by internet.
Once we'd picked up mom from the office, we headed out and picked up the her car from the dealership.
Things went fairly normally from there until after lunch, when the garage door slammed shut, breaking the mechanism in the doorknob. Naturally, this led to getting help from the landlord's handyman, as garage access is a tad important.
After all of that, there wasn't much time before dinner, so I just played Borderlands for a bit.
When dad and I were shopping, we found some goodies for dinner and picked up Ender's Game at the store's Redbox kiosk, so we had a movie night again. I'd picked up a spinach and goat cheese pizza for myself. After all, the last pizza, while good, was still only a cheese and mushroom pizza.
Most of the evening had been spent catching up on the stuff going on online, so nothing really moved along today. But, given the plans for this morning, I didn't really expect miracles either.
For tonight's link, try an article about how some sewers were blocked by a giant pooh.
