Yesterday it sounded like we'd be going on another photo trip, so I went to bed early enough to be ready for it. Sure enough, today began with a trip to a nearby park where we took pictures of ducks, geese and a fancy old car somebody was driving. They were more than happy to talk about it and let us snap lots of good pictures of it, so one of these days those pictures will show up somewhere.
The extra fun part of the trip was that we took along some bread to feed the ducks and geese. This turned into something of a stampede, and while the birds were friendly I wasn't very comfortable with having an entire flock of full grown geese surrounding me. We've been around aggressive geese enough that I'd rather not chance it.
Also, next time we'll take a lot more than two slices of bread; to say there was competition for the goodies was an understatement!
For the heck of it I suggested we get Subway for lunch, as it was quite close to the park's entrance. So we did. I again went with the veggie delight, but this time I tried a different dressing and added pickles just to see what they were like. Turned out that was a rather good combination, so I'll have to remember that for later.
The rest of my day was spent going between different games, namely Mordor, Faerie Solitaire, Enchanted Caverns 2 and the good old Farm Simulator 2013. I haven't played the latter in a while, and it felt good to get away from "busy" games for a bit. That said, I did figure out how to have two fields get harvested at the same time, and that requires some interesting leg work to keep from exhausting the combines' storage tanks.
The real shocker though was that there are Steam trading cards for Farm Simulator 2013. I even ended up with a "foil" card that's worth about $2.25 .
Anyway, I'm going to play around in Mordor for a little bit here before going to bed. The rest of y'all can enjoy this educational video that uses vegetables to discuss why porn is unrealistic.
