Yesterday things were moving along nicely. I'd planned on shelving Minecraft for the day so that I could put the time to better use, and things appeared to be in order.
And then during lunch I managed to bite my tongue. Normally I'd just wince and continue on, which was my reaction when it happened. This time however things changed a few moments later when I'd finished eating and continued to seemingly salivate. It was then that I noticed that part of my tongue was completely numb, and so I checked in the mirror. Turns out this time around I'd punctured it rather deeply, and it was bleeding like crazy.
Some thirty minutes later we managed to get the bleeding to stop. Shortly after that we headed out to the local Rite Aid for soft, cold foods like milk, ice cream and soup that I eat while this injury heals.
So, instead of playing Minecraft for most of the time I could have been working on something I treated an unexpected injury. Same loss of productivity, way less fun.
Yesterday's productive efforts really only resulted in fixing some graphics for the new revision of DBHL. I burned out early and went to bed around 10 PM.
Today saw lots of Minecraft, but it also began with a number of errands. Bird seed was the main goal, with some stuff at Target and a quick check of the local Toys R Us and the country market before we went home.
The big development of the day today was in my Minecraft game: I found the Archmage Tower and after a tricky battle secured it, gaining the secrets of the game's most powerful magics.
Otherwise, I made some notes for Emo and Cast Mine Thrive and updated PonAI.
For the link of the day, try these dancing ponies.
