Brown and Burnt out

Posted on May 29th, 2013

Lately there have been issues with the power. Or at least, something is going on that's enough to throughly annoy our UPS systems. The best response so far is just to shut everything down and disable the batteries for the night. It's pretty much the only way to get them to stop shrieking like banshees.

This was also why I didn't make an entry yesterday; the alarms went off roughly when I was getting ready to go to bed, so I didn't bother.

Yesterday was focused on getting Poser 7 setup in the Windows side of the system. I had a brilliant idea: rather than transfer everything over, I'll just carefully set up the runtime bit by bit. This is giving me a chance to neatly lay everything out and also remove a bunch of junk content I never use. It's taking a lot longer, but it'll be worth the trouble.

During yesterday evening I also spent more time cleaning -- specifically I disassembled the fan and vacuumed out the past few years of dust that had accumulated.

Today though was something of a wash out. I attempted to work on DBHL, but couldn't draw anything for trying. My attempts at writing didn't go well either. Judging by the way things went this afternoon, I'd say that my blood sugar wasn't well regulated today.

I spent most of today working on my new base in Minecraft or unpacking more stuff for Poser. Tomorrow should be better I think.

Lastly, here's a cat that's very determined to go outside.
