Lots of interesting things happened today.
The main event was a trip to the dentist. A few days ago I was enjoying lunch when something felt odd. After lunch I checked and found that the tooth that the dentist had worked on last month now had a very rough spot, as if it'd cracked or been damaged. Thus we made an appointment and had it checked out before anything went wrong. Turns out there was nothing to worry about, as it was just a little bit of extra filling material flaking off and not anything major.
After that visit we stopped at the grocery store for various odds, ends and dinner -- a box of BBQ chicken tenders with a side of joes and a Mt. Dew.
Most of the afternoon was spent playing Minecraft as there was hardly any time left between when we arrived home and dinner.
The real goal for today was to try out some coding ideas for DBHL, which ended up working out quite well. Thus tomorrow will be busy with touching up the code and transferring the rest of the site to the new system.
During the late evening I got something of a shock when this computer crashed in a rather disturbing fashion. According to the folks at UF, it was simply a matter of the computer suffering from the electronic equivalent of sleep deprivation and to prevent a recurrence I should just reboot more frequently.
The other interesting note of the day is that I ended up curious about a certain mare and did a little research into her condition, once again with the aid of UF. It turns out that Screw Loose's famous mental issue is actually a real disorder and not just a joke about being barking mad. I also managed to find some treatment information and a nifty little song.
That song is today's link of the day: Good Girl.
