A big ol' snow storm has been predicted for the near future, so this morning we ran out to the local Rite Aid to pick up a number of last minute things we needed. This way we won't be out shopping during the blizzard. It's a good thing we did that early; the snow began shortly after we got home and it's been accumulating since.
My goal for today was to tinker with C++ some more. After a lot of checking information online and tweaking, I've managed to recreate the prototype stuff in C++ and I've worked out all of the necessary tidbits like dynamic arrays, function pointers, libraries and threading.
Throughout the day I played more poker with the cartoon characters. I'm improving quite quickly. The downside is that the unlockable tables and decks so far aren't very useful. The fancy new cards are hard to read for example, so I've been sticking with the default. Kinda ruins the point of unlockable bonuses.
Tomorrow I need to see about the comic before I do any more work on anything else.
So lastly, here's a unique and effective way to clear the snow from the driveway without going outside to do it.
