The GP2X stuff wasn't particularly impressive; in fact it was almost disappointing. It was so slow. Of course, considering it only runs at 200 MHz (modern computers run at 2200+ MHz) it's decent. I may have to mess with it a bit to improve the speed.
During the afternoon I also installed a second Xubuntu VM; this time setting it up to compile for normal computers (setting the one VM up for both GP2X and x86 would be hazardous at best).
Later I did some tests to confirm that Playpen was in the right direction and then continued to develop the core features it'll need.
