I spent the first part of my day focusing on working out problems with Playpen's design. After a few hours I realized that I was putting the cart before the horse by working on the compiler prior to the interpreter. Realizing I'd have to start over, I decided to just take the day off and spent the rest of the day playing Meritous.

I also tried a few alternative ideas for Playpen, none of which ended up playing out.

Very late in the day I had an idea for a new website. I pitched the idea on UF and received a supportive response, so tomorrow I'll begin work on it as well as begin work on Playpen's interpreter.

Lastly, the 2009 Advent Calendar has updated again. Tomorrow morning I'll add the final item.
