So this morning we left for Target for a fast round of shopping. We got off to a late start, so we had lunch at the buffet first. I decided to give the fruit bar a go since I could benefit from expanding my menus. I've never particularly liked fruit, so this was something of a gamble.

The pineapple cubes were too darn sweet and rather gross, the dipped banana slices were hideous, the pickles had a somewhat unpleasant texture but tasted good, and the olives were well, olives. The pasta salad was a hit however and it made up the majority of the meal.

At Target we got some rechargeable batteries and a charger for a nice cheap price. The new gadgets (our wireless mice, the retro mini X and the GP2X) eat batteries like candy, so this is a needed fix.

I spent the evening reorganizing my SD cards, trying a few dozen new games for the GP2X, writing Din's new documentation and running for the border. I'm not certain of the cause, but bombs are going off in the gut today, much like they were on Saturday.

Lastly I've updated the 2009 Advent Calendar with something truly unique: an episode of an Anime that tells the story of Christ's birth. No I'm not kidding. I grew up watching this series, its sequel and its spin off. This round there are two links instead of one because YouTube prohibits users from uploading more than 10 minutes of video per upload.
