During the afternoon I worked up a mock up to show off Playpen's graphic system and inquired about it. The mock up can be viewed here. I got a number of positive comments on it, so I'm not off the map by making it this way.
The rest of my day was spent working on Din. It's slow going, but it's starting to head in the direction I want it to go. While I worked on that I watched ST:TNG, and encountered the episode called Qpid, which features some of the funniest moments in the series: example 1 and example 2.
During the evening I managed to send a few emails off, so the site's emails are working again! Additionally, I received an email from Sourceforge about Necros Cavern. It had been selected for inclusion on a study on Open Source software by the University of Massachusetts! I answered their 68 question survey, and was thus given a $10 coupon for Think Geek.com as well as entered into a raffle for an additional $50 coupon.
I poked around Think Geek and found this -- it's a portable NES! I needed to get my allowance advanced a little, but I bought one with the $10 coupon. I have a ton of NES games, so this will give me access to a lot of old memories. Also, mom's looking forward to playing Tetris again.
