The remainder of my day was spent cleaning, carving and attempting to get a decent picture of the pumpkin. This was my first go at disemboweling the vegetable, and I recon it's akin to cleaning the boogers out of a giant's nostrils. The carving itself went well, I only lost a tiny bit of blood (you think I'm kidding). It took about 3 hours to carve it.
Taking a decent picture proved to be a major frustration however. I eventually found a setting on the camera that worked, but not before nearly exploding.
I've set off the pictures to one of the sites I typically visit: they are holding a pumpkin carving contest, so I've entered. If I place, I get free shirts and pins with funny video game related jokes on them. The judging is later this week, so no pictures of my entry until then.
I spent the last hour watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and testing drawing API that Playpen will be using.
Lastly, try carving a virtual pumpkin.
