Naturally we ate out at the family restaurant. I spent time pondering over the menu to eventually choose the Reuben again.
The remainder of my day was spent working with the program again. I added in the optimizations that I'd spotted yesterday, and the program literally runs at light speed now. I've reworked the program's code into a unit and linked the unit into a GUI setup. That was roughly my goal from the start.
I didn't get much sleep last night, thanks in part to the neighbors slamming doors at 2:30 AM. The main reason though was that I couldn't get comfortable. Tonight's sleep will probably be cut short in the morning as there's an excited toddler living below us.
It's windy out here; 50+ mph winds. Earlier I heard something go *clank* and scrape across the roof. Whoopie. I helped dad get a load in the car, and his only remark was that he didn't think to pack a comb. Heaven forbid his hair gets ruffled.
