Project Metal has hit the fan. Simply put, while everything works, it seems to have missed the point. It fails as a game: it's not fun to play. Thus it needs a redo. Most of the code already written can be reused with no or little editing. The bad news is that a lot of the code gets chucked. I was starting to doubt the validity of this project the other day, but now I'm sure of it's failures.
During the course of the day I had two nosebleeds. Whoopie. At least neither dripped on the carpet.
Most of today was rather noisy. One of the neighbors, presumably the family downstairs, blasted music for most of the evening. In addition, there was a lot of floor shaking thuds and slams.
The other news of the day is that Opus is gone.
