Back on the 24th we abruptly remembered that the friend we took out to dinner earlier this week works in that building; different unit, same building. We told her the story and in turn she informed the psychiatrist's boss of the situation. This guy was previously my psychiatrist; when he got promoted he stopped seeing patients as he's now second in command.
Net result:
My psychiatrist has a new receptionist.
