Despite this morning's unpleasant surprise at the psychiatrist's office mom and I tried to have a good day of it. We ate lunch at the local Italian restaurant. I had a 12" meatball sub with steak fries, per usual. Also per usual, I initially forgot to duck while walking to our table. I'm about a quarter-inch from clonking into one of the chandeliers; today it brushed my hair but missed my scalp.

I spent the evening poking about the internets and working on Project Metal. There's about 300 lines of code in the new revision so far, and it does compile. It doesn't do anything yet, but it's got a nice workable framework for the rest of the code to fit in.

Tomorrow looks like a day for sleeping in and coding.
