Today we visited the lawyer we've got handling the social security application. Getting there was rather interesting; I don't think I've turned around that many times since the last time I was in a square dance. Finding a parking spot was also interesting: both decks were full. We ended up parking on the street in a '1-hour' parking zone.

The talk with the lawyer went smoothly; it was mostly about what to expect from the upcoming trial. During the session, mom left and re-parked the car in one of the decks as our hour was up.

After we were done there we decided to try a new restaurant for lunch. This place moved in during the decade we lived in the country and we have yet to try it. It's a nice family style place. The menu is extremely small; it basically had salad, soup or sandwich. I had a steak sandwich with fries. Everything was good, but kinda pricey. We probably will never go there again.

Next stop was the grocery store for odds and ends, mostly candy and cat food.

The rest of my day was spent puttering about online or fussing with Project Metal.
