For a real oddity the power was off in that part of town. The store was running on generators with no heat and dim lighting.
Mom and I also mailed several cards. On the way back we stopped in the office and I got myself a new apartment key. The one that had become lodged in the front door was apparently beyond repair.
I spent the evening working with Necros Cavern. I managed to get everything I planned on working today. Also, I've found that porting the code to the GUI framework is an excellent way to find bugs in the original source.
At some point during the evening I managed to hurt my thumb. I'm not sure when it happened, but I'm guessing it was the result of getting the new key on the keyring. I ended up using a file and a pair of hemostats to pry the keyring open enough to admit the rather thick key.
The links for today are rather varied.
I was given the link to this Spanish illistration site early this morning. It contains a number of anthro and personified animal comics and images, most of which have a political slant. It also sometimes contains blood.
A simple search with Google Trends explains the state of the world. Oddly, Hungary and Australia are more interested in the War on Terror than the US of A.
Lastly, you can blame a thread on UserFriendly for this old link being hefted out of the distant past: There's Klingons on the starboard bow!
