Things are moving ahead for some of my other projects, so at least something is going right.
I finally have an idea why the LiveJournal is botching up the listing for this site's feed. When I restored the posts on this site a few posts couldn't be restored. This has the effect of shifting the postid of newer posts. All of the posts after an unrestoreable post will be one postid off from what they were. Thus, new posts have the same postid as another post from the previous host. LiveJournal is getting buggered up because it identifies posts it's downloaded by their postid and so it thinks I've been editing old posts instead of posting new ones.
That's the best guess I have for the jumbled ordering. It should clear up once the new posts have postids greater than the highest postid from the old host's copy. It may just be that LiveJournal's system is simply buggered up though. Time will tell.
Last night I discovered two articles about two people that may soon ge the help they need for their bizarre problems. The first is a Jehovah's Witness that refuses surgery. That's not exactly a new thing, but what the surgery is for is something else. He needs to get a monstrous tumor off his face. The other guy is nicknamed "Tree Man" because of the root and bark like growths covering him.
Car doors can really get in the way sometimes. This group makes them disappear.
A rather bizarre Christmas decoration is this fancy tree that uses an electric eel for power to run the lights.
Lastly, here's a Calivn and Hobbs music video.
