My day began with some errands. One of these errands was to the little bakery nearby. This was my first visit to the place. Among other things they carry a brand of chips that I particularly like but nobody seems to have. I didn't pick any up however because I was mainly looking for stuff to help the diet along. Today was the first time in years that I've seen some of the types of cookies I saw on the shelves. I bought a number of things: some chocolate covered (double dipped) peanuts, low sodium kettle fried chips, chocolate marshmallow cookies, a bag of bite size cookies, and some sugar-free sugar wafers (I have no idea how the heck they pulled that last one off). Yes, this junk food helps the diet: high calorie but low sodium food helps round off the day.

I spent most of the evening in the lavatory. I have no idea where the spell of the trots came from, but it seems to happen once every few months. The extra spicy Buffalo Chicken I've been eating wasn't much of a help.

One thing I did between runs was upload the new version of Necros Cavern. This is the first version to include everything I'd planned for the game, and the biggest bug is also fixed. That bug caused the game to crash when any Vampire moved; it seemed to be the result of an incomplete edit.

In other news a substitute teacher in Texas is raising quite a stir by teaching a rather nutjob lesson plan. Also, remember those toxic beads (Bindeez) from the other day? China has banned exports of them. While it's not surprising that yet another poisonous product hails from red country, the fact that THEY are prohibiting its sale is worthy of note.

Lastly, it's been revealed that chocobos taste like chicken. Who'da thunk it.

Hopefully tomorrow will come out better.
